Hi again! Continuing with this week’s Christmas DIY under $20 series, today’s post is about quick Christmas DIY picture frames.
The best thing about this series is that it uses items you already have in your home! This is great for those of you who want some quick and easy DIY Christmas decorations without spending lots of money.
If you haven’t already, be sure to check out my Chrismas DIY with paper post that also uses wrapping paper.
Here’s what you need:

Christmas DIY picture frames
(These are my two dogs. Say GOODBYE until next season, Snoopy and Sheila!)
Start with existing picture frames that you already have. I chose smaller 4×4 frames because I am using leftover wrapping paper scraps. If you have leftover gift wrap scraps that are too small for wrapping a gift, use it for your picture frames!
You’ll then want to measure the size of the frame and draw a template before you begin to cut. I drew a 4″ x 4″ box for my frames.
When in doubt, cut outside the lines and adjust if needed. If you cut the paper too small, or if your template is off then you will see a gap in the frame.
And here’s the result! I had some beautiful leftover gold metallic wrapping paper and paired it when a gold frame. Here are some beautiful timeless wrapping paper bundle from Hallmark for under $15.
Have fun experimenting with different patterns and frames!
These make great little table vignettes. You can also hang them on your walls as Christmas wall art!
These frames would go great on top of mantels, shelves, console tables, and side tables.
